Language Therapy

Language therapy is necessary for patients struggling with expressive or receptive language.

Expressive language includes verbal output, word finding, and organization of thoughts. This also includes written language skills.

Receptive language includes understanding of verbal and written language, following directions, and answering basic questions.

Language therapy promotes the adequate use and understanding of language. It aims to develop and teach functional language skills in order to enhance daily communication.
