Home Health & Hospice

Franciscan Healthcare Home Health provides intermittent, non-continuous care that allows patients to recover in the comfort of their own home. Periodic visits from our Home Health team help our patients work towards an identified goal and gain back their independence. Home Health services must be ordered by a physician. We are a Medicare-Medicaid certified facility, meeting the requirements of the State of Nebraska Regulation & Licensure/Credentialing Division. Our home health team is made up of nurses, aides, physical therapists, occupation therapists, and speech therapists.

Franciscan Healthcare Hospice is a specialized support service for families who need professional assistance in providing care for a loved one who is facing advanced stages of illness. Care focuses on symptom control rather than curative measures. When quantity of life is limited, Hospice care emphasizes the quality of life remaining by focusing on the emotional, social, spiritual and physical comfort of the patient family.  The Hospice team is made up of a medical director, RNs, social worker, aide, chaplain, pharmacist, dietician, and volunteers.
